It’s a Roly-Poly Christmas

It’s a roly-poly Christmas
Watch them roll into a sphere
I don’t know, quite where they’ll go
Since they can’t really steer

It’s a roly-poly Christmas
There’s so many kinds to choose
Dairy cows? We want them now!
They’re perfect cleaning crews

Oh ho, a rotten log
Fallen on the ground
Isopods surely will
Underneath be found!

It’s a roly-poly Christmas
Our advice is loud and clear:
These bugs by golly, will really make you jolly
This year!

Frosty the Snow Morph

Frosty the snow morph, was a cute western hognose
With his phenotype his body is white
And his eyes the color rose

Frosty the snow morph, loved to dig to eat his prey
With his upturned nose, through the dirt he goes
Eating toads as an entrée

There must have been a scary thing
Somewhere on the ground,
For Frosty flipped onto his back
Playing dead for all around

Frosty the snow morph,
Was alive as he could be
And the herper’s say he could slither all day
Even under a Christmas Tree!

Santa Claws

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I’m telling you why
Santa Claws is coming to town

He’s making a list
Of snacks that are nice
Crickets and mealworms will have to suffice
Santa Claws is coming to town.

He sees a spot for basking
And to take a quick nap break
He knows some sleep will do him good
So a rest is what he’ll take.

Santa’s on route
He’s coming on by
We’re very excited, and telling you why
Santa Claws is Coming to town!

It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like (A Reptile) Christmas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
As a reptile pro
You’re not sure how long it has been
Since you left your reptile den
There’s several tanks to check on then you’ll go!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
You’ll mist just once more
It’s not long before you see turtle eggs in a clutch of three
It’s your one last chore

A gecko that poops and you’ll have to go scoop
Is an issue that never ends.
You work with great haste to pick up this waste
And then you’ll spend time with your friends.
The guilt’s so bad you’re really late for yuletide again

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon you must depart
And spend time with those visiting
And your pets you cannot bring
But it breaks your heart
