SUMMARY:Pacific Northwest Reptile Show Puyallup
DESCRIPTION:The Pacific NW Reptile and Exotic Animal Show is a public trade show and is the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.  There are four shows annually\, alternating every three months between Albany\, OR and Puyallup\, WA. Both venues boast nearly 100 vendors occupying over 25000 sq. ft. of venue space \nIn addition to animals and their related merchandise for sale\, PACNWRS events provide the best educational displays available in the area. PACNWRS events are a great weekend for the beginner keeper to the advanced hobbyist\, and everyone in between. Bring the whole family for a truly unique experience! \nPACNWRS has been providing at the NW large vendor showcase for over 25 years and we are proud to say that we have seen more than 250\,000 attendees since we started. Our close relationship with vendors and exhibitors has allowed us to offer our guests a wide variety of products and animals that are sure to impress any level of enthusiasts. \nAs a family-friendly event we try to provide activities and education for guests of all ages and interests. SUMMARY:International Herpetological Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The first Symposium of Captive Propagation and Husbandry of Reptiles and Amphibians was held in June 1976. That inaugural meeting at Hood College in Frederick\, MD\, eventually evolved into what we know today as the International Herpetological Symposium (IHS). \nEach year the IHS is held in a different location and hosted by a zoological\, herpetological or herpetocultural institution. Its purpose is two-fold:​ \n\nTo provide an annual symposium for the dissemination of information and research pertaining to the natural history\, conservation biology\, captive management and propagation of amphibians and reptiles\nTo build a community open to all individuals who are interested in reptiles and amphibians and provide a platform that fosters the exchange of ideas and information\n\nIndividuals from all areas of herpetology and herpetoculture are involved in the planning of each event\, and all are invited to attend.
