Batagur Articles
Our ITTW partners at the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group put together a yearly book called the Batagur with their insider tips on chelonian keeping. Each issue is 50-70 pages and is packed with articles which vary in topic from field research, husbandry, historical accounts, species profiles, educational topics, and more.
This book is included with your membership to the TTPG, but we’ve shared a sneak peak of what you’ll get during this year’s International Turtle and Tortoise Week. The TTPG as an organization puts an emphasis on preservation through building and supporting assurance colonies. It is full of veteran keepers that are a wealth of knowledge worth tapping into.
