  • NARBC Gecko Symposium

    Eyeball licking, toes sticking, and tails wagging! It's time for the GECKO WORLD to come together!

    It is supported by the North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC), the largest gathering of reptile enthusiasts, suppliers, artists, and herpetoculturists in the United States. After the final presentation, there will be a sale/swap. All attendees may bring gecko-related items and live animals to sell during this final hour of the symposium. Symposium attendees will have access to the best stuff, supplies, beautiful artwork, and the rarest animals 15 hours before NARBC VIPs!

  • American Frog Day

    American Frog Day is the longest standing amphibian conservation fundraiser event in the world. Ā Each year American Frog Day raises and donates thousands of dollars to organizations around the world. There will be a show and sale featuring: captive born and raised amphibians, Terrarium and Vivarium supplies, Tropical plants, including carnivorous plants and orchids, and Educational displays.

    Afterward there are dinner lectures on a variety of topics. The dinner lectures have been extremely popular and are the perfect ending to the American Frog Day event. Ā See old friend, enjoy a nice meal, listen to engaging speakers lecture on conservation efforts, field exploits, husbandry and care tips, and more.Ā  Seating is limited so don't wait to long to purchase your ticket!Ā  Ā

    Every April, we cohost International Turtle and Tortoise Week with our friends at the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group. This year, our theme is ā€œThe Surprising World of Turtles.ā€

  • The Reptile Talks

    Gathering of world experts in captive reptile keeping to promote growing knowledge in the hobby. This 3 day conference hopes to inspire and educate and have everyone walk away with an understanding of how to improve our hobby.

  • Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group Conference

    The TTPG Conference is held each November in Mesa, Arizona. The TTPG Conference’s amazing lineup of speakers includes turtle and tortoise experts from around the world. The conference attracts attendees from all over the United States, Europe, Asia, Canada, and South America. Topics include captive care, nutrition, medical care, captive breeding, incubation tips, raising healthy offspring, enclosure design, and much more. Field trips include visits to private breeding facilities, local zoological institutions, and other interesting experiences, and there are often special evening events addressing conservation concerns, updates on legal issues and the ā€œunder 4ā€ regulationā€, presentations from USARK, Q & A sessions, and of course, lots of fun social time is enjoyed by attendees.

  • Bluegrass Bash Fish Convention

    This convention gathers members from several freshwater fish organizations to offer expert speakers, workshops, fish sales, and field trips to fish facilities. The organizations attending will be The American Cichlid Association, American Livebearers Assocation, and the International Betta Congress.

  • International Herpetological Symposium

    The firstĀ Symposium of Captive Propagation andĀ Husbandry of Reptiles andĀ AmphibiansĀ was held in June 1976. That inaugural meeting at Hood College in Frederick, MD,Ā eventually evolved into what we know today as theĀ International Herpetological Symposium (IHS).

    Each year the IHS is held in a different location and hosted by a zoological, herpetological or herpetocultural institution. Its purpose is two-fold:​

    To provide an annual symposium for the dissemination of information and research pertaining to the natural history, conservation biology, captive management and propagation of amphibians and reptiles
    To build a community open to all individuals who are interested in reptiles and amphibians and provide a platform that fosters the exchange of ideas and information

    IndividualsĀ from all areas of herpetology and herpetoculture are involved in the planning of each event, and all are invited to attend.
