Our store of the month for December is Whiskers, Wings, and Wild Things in Canton, OH! Susan Fitzgerald grew up on a farm and raised animals her whole life, but had always wanted to open a pet store. Finally, in 2001, she followed her lifelong dream and opened Whiskers, Wings, and Wild Things with her son Joe.

Since opening, the store has become a family affair, and now both Susan’s sons (Joe and Harry), along with four of her grandkids (Jojo, Jace, Harrison, and Jules) all take part in the business.

Whiskers, Wings, and Wild Things has a rotating selection of unusual pets, including Uromastyx, caiman lizards, salamanders, flowerhorns, clownfish, Halloween crabs, hissing cockroaches, monitors, blue death-feigning beetles, and more!

In addition to reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects, they also have small animals and supplies for dogs and cats. They offer grooming services for dogs, cats, and small animals.
