1345 Military Road in Buffalo, NY is no stranger to the world of pets, having previously been the home to Niagara Aquarium since 1951!  But 69 long years ended, as many things did, in 2020 with the trials and troubles that came with being a small business attempting to survive Covid.  One long time employee of Niagara Aquarium decided that the legacy wasn’t over yet and created Buffalo Pet Supply!

Dave Holinbaugh spent 8 years working in Niagara Aquarium along with a budding aquarium maintenance business.  In 2020, along with the help of his sister Stephanie, they officially opened Buffalo Pet Supply and started to turn it into the business it is today!  Together they rejuvenated the business, bringing back outdoor pond fish/supplies, along with revitalizing the reptile department!  Their focus is on providing their customers with quality pets and the right assortment of supplies to provide the best possible care for every animal.  All of this being delivered with a personal and friendly touch, making their customers feel like a part of the family!

A major part of their focus has been on providing quality products and knowledge so that customers have not only what the animals need to survive, but truly thrive!  Bioactive environments, proper nutrition, captive bred reptiles and a HUGE product assortment that you don’t typically see in other retail pet stores are just a few of the things that set them apart.  They have also become a part of the local reptile shows in the Buffalo area, as they feel it’s important to be a part of the local reptile community and show their support.
