​Our store of the month for April is Lebanon Pet and Aquarium! This store located on the New Hampshire/Vermont border has had the option of ordering directly from their website for a while, but now more than ever they’re accommodating the community’s needs by setting up local delivery and curbside pickup.

Stephen Rojak opened his doors in 1984, another year famously foretold to be wrought with fear and sadness. But Stephen was a light in his community and overcame the Orwellian prediction then, and now, raising the community up with hope and reptiles.

The indoctrination was most successful with current reptile and fish manager, Zach. As a kid with two Schneider Skinks, he was a frequent visitor of Lebanon Pet and Aquarium, and finally joined the team in 2004.
Zach predicts there will be an increase in baby tarantulas (slings) being sold in the future. Like the increase in dog/cat adoptions has grown in these times as people search for a companion, tarantulas too can offer great satisfaction in watching them grow from a baby to an adult spider.

If tarantulas don’t peak your interest, Lebanon Pet and Aquarium has over 60 unique reptile enclosures to fill the void (or empty terrarium) in your life. They also have an open aviary where all their exotic birds for sale are allowed to freely roam and fly. An extensive collection of saltwater fish and corals are also available.

Currently during a great time in need within a community fighting through the COVID-19 pandemic. Lebanon Pet and Aquarium is adapting to continuously meet the need of their customers and their pets. All while keeping the store stocked with necessities and keeping all areas clean and employees and customers as safe as possible.
