Our store of the month for December is Adventure Pets in London, KY. Since 1998 this store has served Kentucky in all its pet needs. Husband & wife duo, Michael and Cheyanne Lykins run the store and have paid special focus on aquatics, reptiles, and birds.
When Adventure Pets first opened in 1998, it was based in Hazard, Ky. Michael came from a long line of pet enthusiasts and grew this generational passion into a store that the whole community could appreciate.  After much success in Hazard, the store moved to Berea, Ky in 2002, where it thrived for over 20 years.

In 2022 Adventure Pets relocated a third time to London, Ky.  Since then, many upgrades have been made, and many personalities have been added to the shop. This shop is known for its clean, inviting atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable service. Customers also love the shop pets like Boots the shop cat and Marty the well-loved Moluccan Cockatoo.

This store carries everything from Hedgehogs to Axolotls and everything in between, as well as any product you might need to care for them. With a room dedicated to fish and another room dedicated to reptiles, it’s hard to match their wide selection. The fish room boasts over 50 aquariums that are restocked anywhere from 2-3 times every single week.
