There are almost 100 habitats lining the walls of Jaws and Claws Reptiles and Exotics. These habitats are filled with all sorts of exotic pets including lizards, snakes, turtles, tortoises, amphibians, and invertebrates (both feeders and pets like tarantulas and whip scorpions). Though the shop opened two years ago in March 2017 in West Palm Beach, FL, owners Felix and JC have 13 years of reptile industry experience with reptile care, breeding and selling Zoo Med products to customers.

Being exposed to their miniature zoo each day does not stop Felix and JC from caring for personal pets outside of work. They keep old world snakes (such as this King Ratsnake (Elaphe carinata)), turtles and arachnids. They are passionate about this industry and know their stuff when it comes to exotic pet care. They’re always available to answer the detailed questions on animal care in store, on their social media, and through public outreach events. They regularly do reptile presentations for youth at the local South Florida Science Center and Aquarium and bring reptiles to Adventures Club Meetings.

While Jaws and Claws Reptiles and Exotics provides a wide range of exotic pets, they also offer custom setup naturalistic terrariums, paludariums and enclosures to customers using many of the Zoo Med products that are in stock at the store.
